                                       Dickinson's Soldier Monument                            

Dickinson was the only High School in the Country to have a special monument made for the soldiers of WW1.  The cost of erecting  this tribute was $15,000.  Karl Illava was the noted sculptor who is shown putting the finishing touches to his work.
